Начну сразу издалека – несмотря на то, что данная манга является вроде как сиквелом других работ этого автора, я бы рекомендовал всем кто хочет ознакомиться с его стилем изложения и рисунка (как говорят в рунете «рисовки») начать именно с этого произведения. Во-первых, потому что это небольшая (всего один стандартный японский том) и до конца переведенная манга. Во-вторых, в нем сразу две отдельных истории из цикла работ этого автора под названием «Cupid no Itazura» - эдакая жесткая сэйнэнская романтика о взаимоотношениях полов…и можно будет сразу понять нравится Вам такая тема или нет. В-третьих, я никогда не думал, что однотомник может получиться шедевральным – допускал даже что сингл/ваншот может, но чтобы короткий сериал в один том…это конечно мое личное мнение и кому-то покажется, что шедеврального в этом ничего нет, но нужно делать скидку на краткость и возможность беглого ознакомления с темой целого цикла из трех крупных работ этого мангаки.

Краткое описание сюжета можно почитать на сайте переводчиков или любой онлайн-читалке, поэтому о сюжете скажу так – истории небольшие, но захватывающие и не отпускающие от начала до конца. Глав мало, но интрига в каждой. Концовки и предсказуемые и не предсказуемые одновременно. Автор не просто талантлив, он еще и настоящий профессионал - и в плане рисунка в том числе. Конечно, стиль рисунка довольно специфичен и как говорится «о вкусах не спорят», но он «техничен», достаточно детализован и приятен на глаз (ИМХО).
О переводе – сам языками и фотошопом не владею и может, не знаю всех тонкостей, но переводов видел не мало и решил для себя так – если перевод «живой» и при чтении не «спотыкаешься» о фразы машинного перевода, а сканы радуют глаз чистотой, значит все на высшем уровне. Проще говоря, качественный перевод тот, которого не замечаешь и это именно такой случай – читаешь, как говорится не задумываясь.

Вердикт: Читать даже девушкам, которые предпочитают сёдзё/дзёсэй или яой/сёнэн-ай – потому что даже если не понравится, то времени на однотомник уйдет не много, зато есть шанс открыть для себя одного из самых талантливых мангак Японии.
